Siegel of Tyco Installed as 129th NAHR Fellow

On November 6, 2008, CAHRS directors and board members attended the annual National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR) new Fellow installation ceremony and dinner. This year, Laurie Siegel, senior vice president of human resources and internal communications of Tyco International, was installed as the 129th honored NAHR Fellow. Siegel is a member of the CAHRS advisory board, Rutgers Business School advisory board, and the Personnel Roundtable. She joins several Cornell ILR academic colleagues and CAHRS partner executives as an NAHR Fellow, including Patrick Wright, Ph.D., Lee Dyer, Ph.D., Elease Wright of Aetna, John Murabito of CIGNA, and Eva Sage-Gavin of Gap, Inc.
The NAHR, founded in 1992, is the organization where individuals of distinction in human resources are recognized for professional achievement by election as "Fellows of the NAHR". Election as a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources is the highest honor that can be achieved by an individual. Fellows of the NAHR are widely known as leaders in the profession, have meritorious national reputations for shaping human resource thinking and policy, and have demonstrated an unfailing commitment to success.
