Topic Overview
This webcast will focus on trends in the mix and level of executive pay, with particular attention to the likely impact the current economic environment and legislative initiatives will have on executive compensation. Specific topics that will be addressed include:

The impact on non-financial companies of the executive compensation limitations imposed on participants in the TARP and those covered by the compensation provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
The trends in "shared sacrifice" in executive pay as well as general employee pay as companies attempt to reduce their cost structures in response to the economic downturn.
A review of the shareholder proposals and activist initiatives in the area of executive pay for the 2009 proxy season.
New developments in the tax and securities regulations and SEC disclosure rules on executive pay.
Guidelines for compensation committees in their assessment of risk in executive incentive plans.
