The ILR School and Cornell University admissions information programs and tours are offered throughout the year.
ILR Information Sessions
Prospective first-year and transfer students are encouraged to visit campus and attend an ILR information session. This information session will introduce you to the ILR curriculum, career and graduate school advising, internships, student organizations, international opportunities, and the admissions process. Admissions counselors and/or undergraduate student ambassadors lead each session. ILR information sessions are held in 216 Ives Hall and last approximately one hour.
ILR information sessions will be held from June 1- August 31 every Monday and Friday at 1:15 p.m. this summer (excluding July 3 and August 21). During our fall semester from September 11-November 16, sessions will be held every Monday and Friday at 2:45 p.m. (excluding September 18).
Please register for an information session at Cornell's Visit site. Select the date you plan to arrive, the type of visit (Undergraduate Student), and Industrial and Labor Relations. Click the Get Started button to see all events available during your visit. You can then choose to add the information session and other activites to your schedule.
ILR Saturday Information Sessions 2015
ILR's Saturday Information Sessions for prospective freshmen will be held during the fall semester. At the information sessions, prospective students will hear first-hand from an advisor and current students about ILR's curriculum, internship and abroad opportunities, and the admissions process.
ILR Saturday Information Sessions will be held on September 26, October 3, October 17, October 24, and October 31 at 10:30 a.m. Please register for ILR's Saturday Information Sessions at Cornell's Visit site. Click the Get Started button to see all events available during your visit. You can then choose to add the information session and other activities to your schedule.
ILR does not require or offer personal interviews for first-year or transfer applicants.
If you would like to stay overnight with a Cornell student, please register through The Red Carpet Society, Cornell's overnight hosting program. It is important to submit your hosting request at least two weeks prior to your arrival date. Please review the Red Carpet Society's Overnight Hosting Expectations and submit the required Medical Authorization Form before your visit.
Opportunities for overnight hosting with current students are available during the months of September, October, and November for prospective first-year students and during the months of September, October, November, February, and March for prospective transfer students.
