One major, endless possibilities to visit ILR and the Cornell campus
The ILR School and Cornell University admissions information programs and tours are offered throughout the year.
ILR Information Sessions
Prospective first-year and transfer students are encouraged to visit campus and attend an ILR information session. This information session will introduce you to the ILR curriculum, career and graduate school advising, internships, student organizations, international opportunities, and the admissions process. Admissions counselors and/or undergraduate student ambassadors lead each session. ILR information sessions are held in 216 Ives Hall and last approximately one hour.
ILR information sessions will be held from June 1- August 31 every Monday and Friday at 1:15 p.m. (excluding July 3 and August 21).
Please register for an information session and plan your schedule at Cornell's Visit site.
ILR does not require or offer personal interviews for first-year or transfer applicants.
If you would like to stay overnight with a Cornell student, please register through The Red Carpet Society, Cornell's overnight hosting program. It is important to submit your hosting request at least two weeks prior to your arrival date. Please review the Red Carpet Society's Overnight Hosting Expectations and submit the required Medical Authorization Form before your visit.
Opportunities for overnight hosting with current students are available during the months of September, October, and November for prospective first-year students and during the months of September, October, November, February, and March for prospective transfer students.
