Davis United World College Scholars Program
The Davis Program is a major philanthropic force in promoting international understanding. The scholarship program pays tuition and other expenses for qualified students from all over the world who gain admission to one of a select group of U.S. colleges. In 2005, the program helped to make possible the college education of 74 graduating seniors and 469 undergraduates—outstanding students from around the world, all of them committed to building cross-cultural understanding. Cornell currently enrolls 19 United World College Scholars.
Read the stories of ILR's remarkable young Davis Scholars on these pages, and how they plan to use the multicultural experiences gained both through the United World program and at Cornell to build bridges of understanding and cooperation among people around the world.
