The MPS Application Process

Students are accepted into the MPS program by application through the Cornell Graduate School. Admission is competitive. While there are no specific requirements as to previous areas of study or areas or years of work experience, the admissions committee looks for applicants with a strong academic background as well as a proven record of relevant work and life experience. Admissions decisions are made by informed judgment, not formulas.

New students are accepted to begin the program in September and January. Applications must be completed by June 1 for consideration for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester. Please be sure to follow the MPS/NYC application guidelines, as some requirements (e.g., deadlines, GRE/GMAT waivers, supplemental essays) differ from the general application instructions.

Please contact the MPS program offices directly (212-340-2808 or with any application or program-related questions.
